Sebi welcomes youth to participate in its young professional program as interns for one to three years.
Young adults will be employed for one to three years under the Securities and Exchange Board of India's (SEBI Board) young professional (YP) initiative, which is designed to help the capital markets regulator with issues pertaining to information technology and the securities market.
A monthly stipend of ₹70,000 will be provided to the 50 young professionals who will be stationed in Mumbai. They'll be given a one year contract with two one year extensions.
They will not, however, be regarded as SEBI officers or workers. In addition, if they pass away, become ill, or are injured while working for SEBI, they will not be eligible for benefits or employment there.
The opportunity is open to postgraduates in management, chartered accountants, company secretaries, cost management accountants and chartered financial analysts from the CFA Institute, US. Anyone with one of these qualifications is eligible to work in the Securities Market Operations (SMO) domain.
